The Indian River Braves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Nansemond River Warriors to 0 in the Braves league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern game on Tuesday, September 26. Indian River will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-5.
The Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the Southeastern game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Hickory gained a win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
