Connecticut High School Football - Killingly knocks off Windham

September 21, 2023: Willimantic, CT 06226

The Killingly Redmen football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Windham Whippets to 12 in the Redmen non-league win on Thursday.

The Redmen now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Norwich Free Academy for a Eastern Connecticut I battle on Friday, September 29. Killingly will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Whippets play the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut II battle, on Friday, September 29. Windham will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Colonels go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 27-22 non-league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT).
