Maryland High School Football - Northern knocks off Lackey

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) and the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), observed Northern's football squad thwart Lackey by a tally of 40-18.

The Patriots now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Great Mills for a Southern Maryland - Potomac contest on Friday, September 29.

Coming up next, the Chargers play the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 29. Lackey will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 42-6 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
