In Thursday's non-league match, the host St. Edward Eagles football squad scored a close 27-20 victory over the Glenville Tarblooders.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 23. St. Edward will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record.
The Tarblooders (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Washington (Massillon, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Washington was nudged by Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH), 28-27, in a non-league match.
