Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets (Box Elder, SD), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a Class AA challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Stevens will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over More (Rapid City, SD).
The Patriot Comets now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to More for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 23. Douglas/Rapid City Christian will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 0-0 non-league Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-7.
