Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN) followers went home happy Thursday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Springfield Yellow Jackets (Springfield, TN), 8-3 in a non-league test.

The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Station Camp for a AA District 9 test on Tuesday, September 26.

With the loss, Springfield drops to 4-6 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-9. Ezell-Harding Christian lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Donelson Christian Academy (Nashville, TN)
