In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Marist Spartans soccer squad scored a close 7-2 triumph over the Thurston Colts.
The Spartans (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Tigers come into the 4A Sky Em battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Junction City was overwhelmed by North Bend (North Bend, OR), 5-1, in a league battle.
The Colts (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Raiders come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Crescent Valley was overwhelmed by Beaverton (Beaverton, OR), 2-1, in a non-league test.
