North Carolina High School Football - Swain County topped by Cherokee

The Swain County Maroon Devils football team (Bryson City, NC), was beaten 26-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC)

The Braves (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record.

The Maroon Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Robbinsville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 28. Swain County will meet a Black Knights team coming off a 27-6 non-league win over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 5-1.
