Next, the Mustangs face the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Mullen will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO).

The Cougars now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Discovery Canyon for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Coronado will face a Thunder team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 7-1.
