The Blaine Borderites held off the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Borderites now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nooksack Valley for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Blaine will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-5.
The Lyncs (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers enter the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Mt. Baker was nudged by Meridian (Bellingham, WA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
