The Riverview Sharks held off the visiting Sumner Stingrays volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Sharks now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomingdale for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. Riverview will confront a Bulls team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lennard (Ruskin, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 7-3.
The Stingrays (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Tampa, FL). The Dragons enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Jefferson was nudged by Durant (Plant City, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
