In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Bethany Wolves soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals.
The Wolves (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains come into the Northwest Piedmont 1A battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Bishop McGuinness was nudged by Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Bengals (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Cardinals come into the Northwest Piedmont 1A battle with a 6-3 record.
