In Thursday's league battle, the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Bishop O'Connell Knights.
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions come into the Washington Catholic (WCAC) battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Carroll was overwhelmed by DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals come into the Washington Catholic (WCAC) battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Bishop Ireton was overwhelmed by Seton (Manassas, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
