Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Central Dauphin East Panthers (Harrisburg, PA), 8-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats face the Lower Dauphin Falcons (Hummelstown, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Mechanicsburg will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 2-2 non-league Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA).

The Panthers now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmyra for a Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge on Monday, September 25.
