Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Herscher will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL).
The Dragons now have a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Iroquois West for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Grant Park will face a Raiders team coming off a 9-0 league win over Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.
