St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints confront the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 25. St. Dominic will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Flyers enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME).

The Lakers now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greely for a Class B - South challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Lake Region will confront a Rangers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Rangers record now stands at 5-3.
