Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans face the Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) in a Metro Suburban challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Timothy Christian will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL).

The Lions now have a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Edward for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 23. Lisle will face a Green Wave team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-9.
