The Mayo Spartans soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Mankato East Cougars to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Spartans face the Century Panthers (Rochester, MN) in a Class AA Section 1 contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Mayo will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Faribault (Faribault, MN).
The Cougars now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Simley for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 23. Mankato East will face a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North (North St. Paul, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 5-4.
