In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Springboro Panthers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Summit Country Day Silver Knights.
The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Oakwood (Dayton, OH). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Oakwood held off Madison (Middletown, OH), 9-0, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Silver Knights battle the Indian Hill Braves (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 23. Summit Country Day will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Braves go into the outing with a 9-0 record after their 9-0 league win over Reading (Reading, OH).
