In Thursday's league battle, the host Wells Warriors soccer squad scored a close 8-1 win over the Yarmouth Clippers.
The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Falcons go into the Class B - South battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Freeport was overwhelmed by York (York, ME), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Clippers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Rangers go into the Class B - South battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Greely nipped Poland (Poland, ME), 4-0, in a league battle.
