The Denver East Angels softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Westminster Wolves to 2 in the Angels league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Denver East improves its record to 3-11 on the year. The Angels host Mountain Range (Westminster, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 8-6. Mountain Range lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Erie (Erie, CO)

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Vista PEAK Prep Bison (Aurora, CO) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 25. Westminster will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Bison come into the game with a 11-6 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO).
