The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE) and the host Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE), saw Ansley/Litchfield's volleyball squad beat Ravenna by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Ansley/Litchfield upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Spartans host Burwell (Burwell, NE) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Burwell won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE)

The Bluejays now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to St. Cecilia for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Ravenna will play a Bluehawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Bluehawks record now stands at 9-7.
