Kansas High School Volleyball - Santa Fe Trail over Atchison County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) and the visiting Atchison County Tigers (Effingham, KS), saw Santa Fe Trail's volleyball squad beat Atchison County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Santa Fe Trail upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to Burlington (Burlington, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Burlington lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Iola (Iola, KS)

The Tigers now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Falls for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. Atchison County will play a Dragons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Jackson Heights (Holton, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 4-6.
