The Onaway Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Bellaire Eagles to 0 in the Cardinals league victory on Thursday.
The Cardinals now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Lake for a Ski-Valley game on Tuesday, September 26.
The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Snowbirds enter the Ski-Valley game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, St. Mary Cathedral dropped by Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI), 3-0, in a league game.
