The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines topped the visiting Bertha-Hewitt Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Wolverines now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nova Classical Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 22. Wadena-Deer Creek will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.

The Bears (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Upsala fell by Browerville/Eagle Valley (Browerville, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.
