The Savannah Classical Academy Spartans volleyball team (Savannah, GA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA)

The Herons (6-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Area 3 challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Toombs County defeated Jenkins (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a 1A Area 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Savannah Classical Academy will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Savannah (Savannah, GA).
