The Chewelah Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Medical Lake Cardinals to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davenport for a 2B Bi-County game on Tuesday, September 26. Chewelah will meet a Gorillas team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA). The Gorillas record now stands at 2-2.

The Cardinals (1-5) will now prepare for their game against North Central (Spokane, WA). The Wolfpack enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, North Central was dropped by Cheney (Cheney, WA), 3-1, in a league game.
