The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Cox's volleyball squad beat Landstown by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Cox upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Grassfield won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA)

The Eagles now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kellam for a Beach bout on Tuesday, September 26. Landstown will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 10-3.
