The Douglass Astros volleyball team (Atlanta, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA)

The Panthers (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers enter the 6A Area 3 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Alcovy was dropped by Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Astros encounter the Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Douglass will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Angoras enter the challenge with a 14-16 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA).
