Illinois High School Volleyball - Somonauk can't hold off Hiawatha

In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Hiawatha Hawks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Somonauk Bobcats.

The Hawks (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Christian Life (Rockford, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Christian Life nudged Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bobcats clash with the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 25. Somonauk will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 5-17 record after their 2-1 league win over Midland (Varna, IL).
