The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Western Branch lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)

The Cavaliers now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Colonial Heights for a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. Lakeland will play a Colonials squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 8-0.
