In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Lexington Minutemen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ridgeview Mustangs.
The Minutemen (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Vikings come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Tri-Valley achieved victory over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) in a Heart of Illinois battle, on Monday, September 25. Ridgeview will attempt to advance on its 3-17 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 11-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Tremont (Tremont, IL).
