The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) and the visiting Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA), saw Lisbon's volleyball squad beat Midland by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lisbon upgrades its record to 15-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. The Tigers enter the test with a record of 5-13. Grinnell won 3-0 in their recent league test against Newton (Newton, IA)

The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars enter the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Starmont was knocked off by North Linn (Troy Mills, IA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
