The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) and the host Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA), saw West Burlington's volleyball squad beat Pekin by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, West Burlington upgrades its record to 23-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Danville (Danville, IA) to play the Bears in a SEI - South bout on Friday, September 22. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Danville won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA)

The Panthers now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Wapello for a SEI - North bout on Tuesday, October 3.
