In Thursday's league challenge, the Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Cougars (Pleasant Hill, CA) volleyball team defeated the host Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs (Santa Rosa, CA), by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans (Healdsburg, CA) in a Small School Bridge challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Summerfield Waldorf will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
