In Thursday's league contest, the St. Croix Central Panthers (Hammond, WI) volleyball squad edged the visiting Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Ellsworth Panthers (Ellsworth, WI) in a Middle Border contest, on Tuesday, September 26. St. Croix Central will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Osceola (Osceola, WI).
With the loss, Prescott drops to 16-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Stratford (Stratford, WI) to battle the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 23.
