In Thursday's league contest, the Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA) volleyball squad nudged the host Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), by a margin of 2-1.
With the loss, Quitman County moves to 1-7 on the year. The Hornets host Jordan (Columbus, GA) to face the Red Jackets in a non-league contest on Monday, September 25.
