The Zimmerman Thunder volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Spectrum Sting to 0 in the Thunder non-league victory on Thursday.
The Thunder now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maple Lake for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Zimmerman will meet a Irish team coming off a 3-0 league win over Holdingford (Holdingford, MN). The Irish record now stands at 5-10.
The Sting (8-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Fighting Saints enter the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, St. Francis dropped by Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN), 3-1, in a league game.
