The Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) volleyball overcame the host Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Umpqua Valley Christian upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Powers (Powers, OR) to face the Cruisers in a 1A Skyline outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Cruisers go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Powers lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Oakland (Oakland, OR)

The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mohawk for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 23. Yoncalla will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Crow (Eugene, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.
