Pennsylvania High School Football - Apollo Ridge prevails Shady Side Academy

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings football squad scored a good 40-32 triumph over the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs.
The Vikings (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers come into the WPIAL AA Allegheny match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart defeated Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA), 28-7, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) in a WPIAL AA Allegheny match, on Friday, September 27. Shady Side Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Ironmen come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 40-6 non-league win over Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA).
