The Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA) football tipped the visiting Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA), 31-30 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Buffaloes now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeast for a 2A District 8 outing on Friday, September 27. Baker will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 32-8 non-league loss to East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Jefferson RISE Charter drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The travel to West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a non-league outing on Friday, September 27. The Wolfpack come into the outing with a record of 3-1. West St. Mary won 44-6 in their recent non-league outing against Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)
