The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Beach Channel Dolphins (Rockaway Park, NY) and the visiting Jefferson Orange Wave (Brooklyn, NY), witnessed Beach Channel's football squad edge Jefferson by a tally of 8-6.

The Dolphins (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Petrides (Staten Island, NY). The enter the PSAL 2A contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Petrides was nudged by Long Island City (Long Island City, NY), 48-19, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Orange Wave battle the Eagle Academy III Eagles (Queens, NY) in a PSAL 2A contest, on Sunday, October 6. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 43-0 league win over Grand Street Campus (Brooklyn, NY).
