The Bishop Grimes Cobras football squad scored 2 points and limited the visiting South Lewis Falcons to 0 in the Cobras league triumph on Saturday.
The Cobras now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Weedsport for a Section 3 8-Man - North/West (8 Man) test on Saturday, September 28. Bishop Grimes will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 22-14 non-league loss to West Canada Valley (Newport, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, South Lewis drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Notre Dame (Utica, NY) to meet the Jugglers in a Section 3 8-Man - North/West (8 Man) test on Saturday, September 28. The Jugglers come into the test with a record of 0-4. Notre Dame lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Tupper Lake (Tupper Lake, NY)
