New York High School Football - Brewster tops John Jay

September 21, 2024: Cross River, NY 10536

The Brewster Bears football squad scored 21 points and limited the host John Jay Wolves to 0 in the Bears league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mahopac for a Section 1 A - North test on Friday, September 27. Brewster will meet a Indians squad coming off a 42-20 league loss to Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Indians record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, John Jay drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolves host Flushing (Flushing, NY) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league test on Sunday, September 22. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 1-0. Flushing won 2-0 in their recent league test against Columbus (Bronx, NY)
