The McDonough Rams edged the visiting Chopticon Braves football team by a score of 12-7 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams face the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, September 27. McDonough will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 35-14 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
The Braves (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers enter the Southern Maryland challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Calvert held off Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 35-0, in a league challenge.
