New Hampshire High School Football - Kearsarge thwarted by Stevens

Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH), 25-7 in a league battle.
With the win, Stevens advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, NH) to play the Raiders in a Division III battle on Saturday, October 5. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 1-1.
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Laconia for a Division III battle on Friday, September 27. Kearsarge will play a Sachems team coming off a 34-12 non-league loss to Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Sachems record now stands at 1-2.
