In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers football squad scored a good 14-0 triumph over the Lawrence Lancers.
The Mountaineers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Minnechaug Regional was beaten by East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA), 31-14, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lancers meet the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen (Tewksbury, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 27. Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Redmen come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 42-14 non-league win over Haverhill (Haverhill, MA).
