Connecticut High School Football - Loomis Chaffee School falls to Taft School

September 21, 2024: Watertown, CT 06795

The Taft School Big Red felled the visiting Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans football team by a score of 27-7 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Big Red play the Trinity-Pawling School Pride (Pawling, NY) in a Founders challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Taft School will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Pride go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 35-28 league loss to Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT).

The Pelicans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers go into the Founders challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Avon Old Farms toppled Kent School (Kent, CT), 42-6, in a league challenge.
