The St. Ignatius Wildcats football squad scored 55 points and limited the host Padua Franciscan Bruins to 14 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. St. Ignatius will meet a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 33-0 non-league win over Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Padua Franciscan drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bruins host North Royalton (North Royalton, OH) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Bears come into the test with a record of 4-1. North Royalton won 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH)
