In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host West Ranch Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Eagle Rock Eagles.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions come into the battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Saugus tipped Castaic (Castaic, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Venice for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Eagle Rock will encounter a Gondoliers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 0-1.
